HAM LUSKE?!? Very odd. This peice SCREAMS Jaxon.

No sign of Judge Whitaker. I was sure this would be his footage credit.

Makes me think of some of the more "arty" sequences in Bambi. But the draft doesn't indicate any footage is reused.

I'm surprised to see any character animators on it at all, I assumed it was a Josh Meador vehicle!

BTW, what happened to prod. no. 2053? Was it scrapped, or part of another package feature?

Yes, some of the names on the drafts can be tricky, but the Cannons are not as confusing as the Williams, the Pattersons and Shaffer/Shafer can be.

John William "Johnny" Cannon, born in Terre Haute, Indiana 3/17/1907, died only 39 years old from a fatal heart attack on 12/06/1946, some two years before Melody Time was released. Alberto has him working for Disney from 7/23/1927 to 5/4/1940.

Robert F. "Bobe" Cannon was born in Ohio 7/16/1909 and died, 54 years old, on 06/09/1964.
