Two things to note...

These days, where I have little time for blogging, I do feel the need to note a few things.

First, yesterday was, of course, the 87th anniversary of the Disney Company, the official starting date being coined as the day Walt got a green light from Margaret Winkler to start a series of Alice films, October 16th 1923.

Secondly, blog reader Steven Hartley has made a wonderful and useful mosaic from my Pecos Bill draft. Hoorah! The more, the merrier, and Steven's first attempt is certainly a keeper! Let this be a lesson to all of you out there who do NOT make mosaics!

More to follow real soon! Promise!

Thanks very much for the compliment - I feel really proud of what I've made and I hope to make more mosaics in the future...

After getting The Rescuers on DVD I'm thinking I'll make a mosaic for that.

So, are you soon going to be posting, or this is still a busy time when you have little time for blogging??

I hope to publish an Alice in Wonderland mosaic tomorrow.

Hi Hans,

Could it be possible for you to scan more pages from that Anna and Bella barsheet's book you did? Do you keep any work-in-progress version of those sheets? i.e. with beats written on them and such...
Whether it's possible or not for you to do that, I can't thank you enough for the marvelous job you're doing in keeping all this knowledge alive. In all the pictures I've worked on, I never saw barsheets nor a metronome in any director's desk, and the "action" column on the x-sheets always looks so empty and lonely... But thanks to people like Mike Mayerson, Michael Sporn, Steve Worth and yourself, we all can start making proper use of those incredibly helpful tools of visualization again.

So thanks a thousand tons,

Arturo

PS.: And thanks another thousand for the Action Analysis Classes, I'm devouring every bit of them... Truly priceless animation masterclasses. Do you have more of these?
